International Forum
Held every two years, the AC21 International Forum provides member institutions with the opportunity to reassess the role of higher education in society through the staging of keynote addresses by prominent public figures, presentations and panel discussions. It has also become a tradition that the AC21 International Forum is complemented by more specialized ‘parallel’ sessions and workshops, which enable representatives from member institutions to give presentations and discuss the latest developments in areas of research, technology and international education.
The prime purpose is to develop AC21 as an effective and truly global network. To help bring us forward in this mission, the AC21 International Forums have a dual function as the occasion for the AC21 General Assembly, where all member institutions should gather. The main aims of the Forum are:
- to act as a portal to maintain host institutions at the forefront of trends in globalization in higher education
- to share information on AC21 activities among the member institutions.
- to promote the organization to non-member institutions.
